Ready for the fire and that feeling, the scent and the ceiling so blue and starry-eyed, been showing restraint between the now and then and there’s a faint sense of belonging again because wouldn’t you know it October is around the corner playing peek-a-boo with my heart. The best thing that you could ever do is make somebody else smile and it’s times like these where I find such ammunition in sweet supply, that whole last third of the year’s time sizzles the scenery with rusted colors that turn you inside out, oh King Midas has been frolicking about and I must say he can work wonders when he sets his digits on the sights. Add a dash of red and pink and I would think the canvas can’t improve, I’ll miss the greens but in times like these I can do without the solid, grade the gradient higher because it moves and it inspires, and besides, there’s always next summer. I can only hope there are marshmallows to fall back on because the grass may not always be dry, but if we find the sky must cry it’s only out of happiness I’m sure, what a weekend what a season what a way to burn the midnight oil…
