I Am Legend So Deadline reported last week that Warner Bros. is moving forward with a sequel to the latest film adaptation of I Am Legend from a few years back.

The Grey Marketing bait-and-switch tactics are nothing new, especially when it comes to the movies. But the instances where the film ends up being a more meaningful and impactful experience...
September 1st Ready for the fire and that feeling, the scent and the ceiling so blue and starry-eyed, been showing restraint between the now and then and there's a faint sense of belonging...

As you can probably tell, I’ve been trying to write at least a micropoem a day for a few months now. I would like to go as long as I can with this, but I don’t want to announce a year-long event or anything for fear that another project or something unexpected will overwhelm me at some point. Either way, I’m still going strong so far and having a great time doing so. Hopefully you’re enjoying at least one or two of these along the way!
I’ve been getting a lot of things done the last few months but unfortunately it’s led to less time to really sit down and focus on writing – and a lot more scattered and quick notes on post its or the backs of receipts these days, as the ideas haven’t slowed down even if they’re not being fully released into stories just yet.
But with a few projects wrapping up soon and the holidays coming to a close, I’m looking forward to an explosion of productivity soon!
I look forward to quite a few things throughout each year – pumpkin pie blizzards, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pie, egg nog, Christmas Tree Cakes, campfires, Fall, October, Halloween – but during the month of October I have begun a routine the last few years of watching mostly classic horror movies. And it’s been awesome.
I start with the horror holy trinity – Dracula (1931), Frankenstein (1931), and The Wolf Man (1941). Then I go into each of the Universal Legacy Collections, and from there it’s a bit of exploring the remakes of the classics, some Hammer films, and of course Blacula (seriously, watch it sometime, it’s actually a really enjoyable and pretty well made movie).
This year I will continue the tradition and start with the big three. I’ll try to write some reviews on these favorite classic films over the next month, keep checking back for updates!
This weekend was a great July 4th for me, as I finished the first draft of a new horror/comedy script. It’s been an idea I’ve been toying with for a very long time now and I’m incredibly excited to see it coming closer to completion.
Now I’m pouring myself back into a few short stories I’ve got the beginnings of and working on some new story ideas, as well as other things…
